HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE LIST | HALL OF HONOR INDUCTEE LIST ![]() The John L. Erickson '63 Foundation Athletics Hall of Fame and Hall of Honor acknowledges athletes whose accomplishments on the field have brought credit to Texas A&M, while the Hall of Honor recognizes individuals who have gone above and beyond in contributions and support of the athletic programs at Texas A&M.
Erickson was a two-year letterman in football during his collegiate days at A&M, but his involvement in Aggie athletics did not stop once the final whistle was blown. Erickson served as the President of the Lettermen's Association in 1996, chairman of the football committee for the Sports Museum, and is an active member in the 12th Man Foundation. The new facility provides a place for former Aggie athletes to socialize and come together. One wall in the facility recognizes members of the A&M Hall of Fame and Hall of Honor. The wall lists all members by the year they were inducted into either honorary group. At the end of the honorary wall is an exciting feature of the room. An interactive kiosk contains photos, bios, and stats of all former A&M athletes that have been inducted into the Hall of Fame or Hall of Honor is available for viewing.
"I am extremely pleased with the Lettermen's Association's accomplishment of designing, building, and funding these two facilities within our own organization and with the consent and tremendous support of Wally Groff, the Athletics Department, and the 12th Man Foundation, and of course John Erickson, who funded the Hall of Fame/Hall of Honor," Singleton said. Erickson Hall is located on the North East side of G. Rollie White Coliseum in room 105. |
